[ARCHIVED] Sidney Police Department Seeks Public Comment

The Sidney Police Department is seeking accredited status from the Ohio Collaborative Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (OCLEAP).

The Sidney Police Department invites feedback from the public regarding its compliance with OCLEAP standards, engagement in the community, delivery of public safety services, and overall candidacy for accredited status. These comments can be in the form of commendations or concerns. The overall intent of the accreditation process is to provide participating agencies with information to support continuous improvement, as well as foster the pursuit of professional excellence.

NOTE: OCLEAP is not an investigatory body. The public comment forum should not be used to submit information for such purposes. Additionally, there will be no response from OCLEAP other than acknowledgment of submissions; however, the information will be considered in context to its relevancy to compliance with standards and the tenets of OCLEAP accreditation. All comments will be forwarded to the agency.
