On October 12, 2020, at 5:04 PM, Officer Jennings made a traffic stop of a vehicle that was being driven by James Marshal Behanan (Cincinnati, Ohio ) around the southbound 90 mile marker of I-75. During his approach to the vehicle, Officer Jennings smelled a strong odor of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle. Officer Jennings conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and he located three large trash bags full of marijuana in the rear trunk. Behanan admitted to Officer Jennings that the trash bags contained over 50 Lbs. of marijuana. Behanan was taken to the Shelby County jail and was charged with Drug trafficking, which is a felony of the second degree.
