On Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the Sidney Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will provide the public the opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to the lobby of the police department (234 W Court St). We will be able to accept liquids, needles or sharps, pills and patches. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
The Sidney Police Department will also have Deterra drug deactivation systems to hand out as well as resources for medication safety available to pick up.
