Narcotics Search Warrant Yields Two Arrests

On Thursday, January 18, 2024, at around 12:30 p.m. investigators from the Sidney Shelby Narcotics Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at 2443 Wapakoneta Ave., Apt A, Sidney Ohio.

Recovered during the search was a large amount of crystal meth, drug paraphernalia, cash, four handguns and a rifle. Further investigation revealed that one of the handguns recovered had been reported stolen from Piqua Ohio. Two people were found inside the residence.  Both were arrested and taken to the Shelby County Jail. 

Arrested were as follows:

  • Pamela Wood, age 67, address 2443 Wapakoneta Ave Apt A, charged with one count of Drug Trafficking a felony of the 2nd degree.  
  • Holly Cooper, age 42, address 2443 Wapakoneta Ave Apt A, charged with one count of Possession of Drugs a felony of the 5th degree and one count of Possession of Criminal Tools a felony of the 5th degree.  

More charges on both individuals are likely in the near future.   

This warrant execution by the Sidney Shelby Narcotics Task Force is a combined effort of officers from the Sidney Police Department and Shelby County Sheriff’s Office to combat drug abuse and drug trafficking in Shelby County.
