On February 21, 2025, members of the Sidney-Piqua Tactical Response Team served a narcotics search warrant at 327 Jefferson St., Sidney, Ohio.
Once the residence was secured and the individuals inside were detained, the Sidney-Shelby County Drug Task Force, along with members of the Sidney Police Department and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, searched the residence.
During the course of the search, the teams seized methamphetamine, two handguns, and $889 in cash. The Shelby County Dog Warden removed the dogs inside due to the deplorable condition of the residence.
The following individuals were arrested and transported to the Shelby County Jail:
Rodney A. Land – Having Weapons While Under Disability (F3), Possession of Drugs (F5)
Kathy J. Cook – Possession of Drugs (F5)
Karen S. Schloss – Possession of Drugs (F5)
