The land for Riverbend Park was deeded to the City of Sidney on June 26th 1981 from Mid-Continent Properties, Inc. for the sum of $1, and other valuable consideration. Mid-Continent Properties were the developers of Riverbend sub-division. Peter R. Thompson, Mid-Continent Properties President, signed the deed over to the City of Sidney.
